Family Filled Weekend

We had a great weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Stephens. It went by too fast. When they got in town they saw our place and we went whale watching that evening. We saw humpback and orca(killer)whales. The next day the men went fishing while us women and kids slept in and went downtown to look at the tourist shops. We were all together for the evening and watched Rio for the first time and had hot chocolate to warm us up. Sunday we went to Church and a picnic in the afternoon where we saw a brown the a black bear trying to catch fish in a stream. We went to look at the glacier that night and saw a black bear there too, we were very close to that one. We finished that night off with hot chocolate too. MOnday they men went out fishing for a little bit to try to catch some...no luck again. So we went to town and rode the tram up Mt. Roberts and walked downtown some more. That evening was finished off with a pot luck at Sandy Beach with the ward where Ryan showed off his new talent of guitar playing and singing.
It was a wet, rainy weekend, and the guys didn't have luck catching any fish because of it, but we loved have family in town spend time with and show off our new home. Who will be our next visitors? Let us know when you can visit!
