More May

In May we got all of the garden boxes and such made and vegetables planted. They took a lot of work, but we are hopeful that we will have a good harvest!! We have a variety of veggies including potatoes(not pictured...planted in the back yard in the ground) THen in the raised beds we have tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, beans, snow peas, cucumbers, zucchini, carrots, radishes, strawberries and trying out the melons too. This climate is so different and cold that you have to be really careful and it is harder to grow things here, but it its possible. We'll see how it goes.

We got this grill free in freecycle and we got it ready to go for a Memorial Day BBQ, we grilled steak, potatoes and onions, and corn on the cob....what can I say more....oh, so delicious!!
